Which first aid course is right for me?
R.E.B Training services understands the time constraints that parents and caregivers face, which is evident in the range of courses we offer.
For those unable to commit to a full paediatric first aid course, our Basic Life Saving (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training provides a condensed yet comprehensive option.

What courses do we offer?
Paediatric First Aid
Although primarily delivered to childcare settings, parents can also benefit from taking this course as it covers essential topics related to general first aid, CPR, childhood illnesses and keeping children safe.

Family First Aid
This 4.5-hour course covers essential skills such as child and infant CPR and choking, ensuring participants can respond effectively in emergency situations involving young children. By dividing the training into two sessions, R.E.B. Training Services makes it easier for busy parents to fit the course into their schedules.
Attending both sessions is necessary to earn the certificate, emphasising the importance of fully acquiring and mastering these life-saving skills.

FAMILY SUPPORT

Makaton
Makaton is a form of sign language that is used widely around the world to support communication skills, particularly for individuals with communication difficulties.
It can be implemented from a very early age, as early as 6 weeks old, and has been proven to be beneficial in promoting early communication in children.
Contrary to the common myth that using sign language can delay speech development, research actually indicates that using sign language, such as Makaton, can support and enhance speech development.
